Why do people not visit their dentists? The reason cited by the largest percentage of respondents was that they had no immediate condition requiring dental treatment (46%). A quarter (24%) said they were too busy. It appears that cost is also an important factor, 23% rate dental work costing too much, and 12% are afraid to go to the dentist.
Fixed bridges and implants are often used to replace missing teeth and to correct some kinds of bite problems.

Crowns and bridges are the most effective procedure for replacing missing teeth or bite problems.
